Using the same key for all your home’s doors, but also for your car and office sounds like a bad idea, doesn’t it?
 
Many people realize that reusing passwords is a bad decision only after their accounts get hacked. Once an attacker breaks the lock (seriously, why even set up a password if it’s 123456?), he can open all the other doors and wreak havoc.
